The Children’s Ministry programs are a resource for our parish families as they share the faith of the Catholic Church with the next generation. Our sessions are offered weekly from September through April on Tuesday evening or Wednesday afternoon. Registration is required to attend.
SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION
Working closely with their parents, children wishing to complete their Sacraments of Initiation will be prepared to make their First Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Eucharist. This program is offered to children who have been baptized, are 7 to 8 years old, and have completed one year of religious instruction either in a parish Faith Formation program or at a Catholic grade school.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY SESSIONS
For children in preschool through the 5th grade, we provide a curriculum through Loyola Press that centers around Ignatian spirituality. Children will encounter Jesus through guided meditation, prayer, art, multimedia, and more! Classes meet weekly on Tuesday evening (6:00-7:00 pm) or Wednesday afternoon (4:30-5:30 pm).
CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD
Children’s Liturgy of the Word is offered at the 11:00 a.m. Mass (weekly during the school year). School-age children are dismissed after the opening prayer to the Day Chapel with a catechist. During this time, children listen and discuss the Sunday Readings in an age-appropriate way. Come and see what it is all about!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

True North VBS will take place on June 23-27, 2025. Kids discover they can trust Jesus in a wild world at True North VBS! True North is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, and touch! Hands-on science experiments, team-building games, unforgettable Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few activities that help faith flow into real life. Kids will also participate in a hands-on mission project, through a program called Operation Kid-to-Kid™, that will provide kids in North America with new warm clothes and blankets.
