St. Pius X Church in Billings is seeking a full-time Children’s Ministry Coordinator (CMC). This person will supervise a comprehensive catechetical formation program for the youth of the parish from pre-school through grade 5. In addition, the CMC is responsible for the development and implementation of the summer Vacation Bible School program. The CMC provides a sacramental preparation program for completing the Sacraments of Initiation (Reconciliation, Confirmation, and Eucharist). The CMC is responsible for the Children’s Liturgy of the Word program, for school-age children on weekends. The CMC recruits, trains, and supervises catechists and support staff and reports directly to the Pastor. The applicant should have one to three years of experience minimum in children’s ministry and hold a college degree (education, childhood development, or children’s ministry preferred). Must be a fully-initiated, practicing Catholic in good standing. Salary is $40k/year. A full position description will be sent upon request.
